All puppies have been promised to new owners (except for the one we are keeping for ourselves). And in fact the first couple have already gone - one to London and one to Liverpool. The rest will follow.
It is quite an emotional event waving them goodbye, but at least we are sure they will be well looked after.

We are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeders Scheme, and our dogs are bred in strict accordance with the Leonberger Club of GB rules.
All dogs are Hip scored Elbow scored and have their eyes tested yearly for hereditary cataracts.
Swaledale Leonbergers is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 15 miles west of the picturesque market town of Richmond and about 4.5 miles outside Reeth in the small hamlet of Blades, which nestles on the hillside above the small village of Low Row.
Immediately outside the doors we have plenty of dog walking opportunities as we have easy access to about 3000 acres of common land which are criss-crossed with footpaths including the Coast to Coast walk.

Pantheraleo
Leonbergers were originally bred to look like the lion found on the town crest of Leonberg in Germany.
The Latin name for lion is Panthera Leo—hence our Kennel Club affix “Pantheraleo”
